Adding electric baseboard heating in your garage can help eliminate the unseen pipe burst above your garage ceiling possibly causing thousands of dollars in damage.

Make sure you turn off you water shut off to the home, drain the water lines, set your hot water tank on away, and keep your heat between 50 and 60 degrees should you leave your home for a lengthy period of time in the winter. It always a good Idea to have some one check on the home as well during your period away from home.
